Faith Formation Provider - Madonna House & St. Elizabeth Lodge

Position Description

The ideal candidate for this Faith Formation Provider position will be a dynamic individual who will plan and implement faith formation opportunities for single moms and their children living at Madonna House and St. Elizabeth Lodge. These faith formation opportunities including one-on-one sessions, Bible studies, and youth activities. The Faith Formation Provider role will also supervise volunteers and provide hospitality to residents, guests, donors, and phone inquiries. The schedule is flexible, with some evenings required.

As a ministerial representative of CCEOK it is expected that both professional and social behavior be aligned with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church.


  • Pray daily for the needs of the poor; opportunities include personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration.
  • Facilitate one-on-one sessions of Dynamic Catholic’s Decision Point program, Theology of the Body You program, and/or other faith formation program, with residents of Madonna House and St. Elizabeth Lodge
  • Plan and implement faith formation activities for St. Elizabeth Lodge Youth
  • Develop and implement Faith in Motion Bible Study for residents of Madonna House
  • Develop and implement Living Grace Bible Study for residents of St. Elizabeth Lodge
  • Work closely with the Transitional Living Manager to contribute to the overall environment and faith formation of the Transitional Living program
  • Plan and implement Lenten Retreat for residents
  • Transport residents to Stations of the Cross every other Friday during Lent
  • Plan and implement Advent Retreat for residents
  • Record keeping of activities
  • Supervise and support volunteers
  • Handle incoming calls, guests, tours
  • Referrals
  • Chaperone outside activities
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Duties as assigned
  • Comply with policies and procedures that creates a safe and secure environment, aligned with the standards of the Child and Youth Protection Charter


  • Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience


  • Faith formation experience
  • Must be qualified to teach and explain the Catholic faith
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • PC literate, Word, Excel, Outlook and internet usage
  • Ability to lift 20lbs, bend, stoop, sit and stand for long periods of time


  • Ability to articulate Catholic teaching with a commitment to its application in the job function
  • Works well in a team environment
