Position Description

This full-time, benefited position leads and manages the administration, planning, delivery and evaluation of counseling services, counseling education and strategic outreach; supervises staff, volunteers and student interns to provide spiritually informed and integrated counseling, training and education in order to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities. Establishes standards of therapy treatment and supervises and monitors staff to those standards.

As a ministerial representative of CCEOK it is expected that both professional and social behavior be aligned with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church.

Tasks

  • Pray daily for the needs of the poor; opportunities include personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration.
  • Manage and supervise staff through regular staff meetings, individual supervision, performance measurements, payroll, annual reviews and ongoing training, formation & education, including specialized CCCEOK University
  • Facilitate efficient and effective clinical operations while making use of telehealth technology, off-campus services in partnership with parishes and collaboration with key strategic partners
  • Provide leadership and vision for the counseling program, including the ongoing development of departmental strategic plans, annual goals, and assessment of clinical operations and all services
  • Collaborate with the Catholic Charities’ management team for the growth and development of counseling services, including marketing, budget, and clinical functions
  • Develop and execute outreach marketing plan to provide therapy and psycho-educational services to areas of need
  • Coordinate and promote volunteer engagement and recruit and develop a network of professional Catholic counselors (staff and volunteers) to assist in the healing ministry of the Church
  • Explore, develop and implement billing & payment options to attain revenue goals
  • Provide clinical supervision for non-credentialed staff, volunteers, interns, and students
  • Develop and manage to outcomes, provide monthly statistics of clinical and outreach services, quarterly updates of departmental goals, and compile statistics for annual reports
  • Provide requested data on results and outcomes for management and Development
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative working relationships with campus programs and external providers in order to provide holistic care and to be a mental health resource
  • Create and update written program policies and procedures to ensure safe, effective & efficient therapy and creates a safe and secure environment, aligned with the standards of the Child and Youth Protection Charter
  • Monitor state and federal compliance for staff, assuring proper licensure, accreditation, and memberships are up to date
  • Oversee the Rachel’s Vineyard ministry and serve on the retreat team
  • Cross train staff to provide post-adoption search and counseling services 
  • Provide FOCCUS inventory for couples preparing for marriage and PREP for marriage support
  • Prepare and manage the counseling budget, oversee expenditures and fee collections and financial procedures
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients when appropriate
  • Remain competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts, attending professional development seminars and training as required by state licensing and regulatory boards
  • Duties as assigned

Education 

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or mental health
  • Current LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma

Skills

  • Five years of counseling or mental health post-license experience
  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities and meet deadlines

  • PC literate with PowerPoint, Word, Outlook,
  • Ability to lift 20lbs, bend, stoop, sit and stand for long periods of time
