Important Information

Services Offered

Services include a food pantry, clothing center, and crisis response. We also provide diapers and haircuts to anyone who needs them.

Food Pantry

The food items you receive weekly will change depending on what we have in stock. Most of the food in our pantry is donated by the Walmart Food Distribution Center. We try to give everyone a variety of fresh, frozen and packaged foods. The size of your order will depend on how many people are in your family.

Clothing Center

It can be expensive to buy clothing and shoes—especially for children who outgrow their old clothes so quickly. Our clothing center can be a valuable resource to help you stretch your dollars. The Catholic Charities Mary Martha Outreach (CC-MMO) clothing center is available to residents of Washington, Osage and Nowata counties in Oklahoma and Montgomery and Chautauqua counties in Kansas.

Hours of Operation

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
9 am to 11 am

Thursday
Noon to 2 pm

How do I receive help?

We are here to help you. If you need food to eat, clean clothes to wear, or household goods because of a crisis or emergency, you've come to the right place.

No appointment is necessary. Visit CC-MMO during our program hours. On your first visit, you will need to apply for services to receive a CC-MMO ID card.

Please bring the following on your first visit:

  • Identification (driver's license or copy of birth certificate AND social security card)
  • Income verification (recent pay stub or documentation from DHS or a copy of your filed income tax return)
  • Proof of residence (recent bill with your current address or rental lease agreement with your current address)

Your income eligibility will depend on how many people are in your family.

Please note: To qualify for food pantry assistance, you must live in Washington County, Osage County or Nowata County.

Once you've received your CC-MMO ID Card, you may receive help from our programs. You can get food from the food pantry once every week, and you can visit the clothing center any time it's open.

Crisis Response

Our crisis response program provides help for people who have emergency needs. We provide furniture, appliances and other household items to:

  • Disaster victims
  • Victims of domestic violence
  • Families in need because of an injury, illness, job loss or other financial crisis

Depending on individual needs, we provide furniture, appliances, bedding, toiletries, diapers, dishes, and other household items. Crisis clients who live in our five-state area will be provided with an CC-MMO ID card and may visit our clothing center and food pantry as well.

Community Garden

The CC-MMO community garden is a place where clients and volunteers come together to grow, work and learn. Anyone who signs up to work in the garden for a few hours a week may take part in the garden's harvest. Most of the fruit and vegetables grown in the garden are given away through our food pantry and at Agapé Mission's on-site feeding program.

Our community garden project serves two purposes:

  • To provide garden volunteers, food pantry clients, and other local agencies with fresh produce
  • To provide an opportunity for anyone who volunteers to learn gardening techniques from a master gardener

If you are interested in volunteering, let us know. Youth groups, church groups and other agencies are welcome to volunteer as well.

MMO-2-Go

One of the tragedies of the working poor is that because they work hard at making a living, they don't qualify for many benefits of those who can't work. MMO-2-Go was designed as a stop-gap measure to help prevent the slide from working poor to poverty. By providing many basic necessities, MMO-2-Go allows the working poor in Bartlesville and surrounding areas to have the breathing room to catch up on bills, do necessary maintenance, or simply be able to put some money into a savings to help themselves later on.

The "working poor" in America represents a large number of the population, a group of people that can't quite make ends meet, despite their hard work. The working poor live on the edge of poverty, one financial obstacle away from an inescapable downward spiral into destitution.

Once per month, we deliver packages of household items and basic necessities to workplaces with minimum-wage employees. MMO 2 Go delivery sites include:

Back-To-School Project

The CC-MMO Back-To-School project is an annual event to help needy parents provide school clothes for their children. If you're interested in this program, here are some details:

  • For parents with children in Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Bring your children's clothing sizes
  • Must live in Washington, Osage or Nowata counties in Oklahoma or Montgomery or Chautauqua counties in Kansas
  • If you don't have a current CC-MMO ID card, you must bring proof of income and residence

We try to help everyone in need, but disaster and domestic abuse victims are given first priority. We accept referrals from Red Cross, Salvation Army, FCC, churches, the Fire Department, and other agencies. If you need help and you don't have a referral, come visit us and we will help if we can.
