Catholic Charities goes out in the community

More than 100 families from Unity Learning Academy in north Tulsa enjoyed a day of exciting games, activities, and food at a block party celebrating the school’s mission and success. The community event marked the school’s first year as Unity Learning Academy.The block party was an excellent opportunity for us to bring resources from our campus into the community. Catholic Charities’ mobile food pantry and clothing store were on hand and Unity families were able to take home clothing and two bags of food. The celebration was hosted by Catholic Charities, in conjunction with University of Tulsa Day of Service volunteers, the Gaining Ground Book Bus, and Global Gardens.
