Position Description

This full-time, benefited position will manage all processes that are driven by the donor database and will continually provide strategic information to guide Development decision making, such as financial reports, mailing lists and database management.

Essential Duties

• Manage and assess weekly and monthly reports to track all key aspects and trends in Development performance – fundraising growth, donor retention and increasing donor support
• Manage the donor communications calendar and direct mail process
• Provide donor lists as needed for various fundraising efforts
• Serve as database expert, including providing guidance and assistance for Development team, accounting team, volunteers and new employees
• Maintain donor database for consistency and accuracy
• Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with database query and report writing knowledge and experience in fundraising and/or direct mail is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, communication and management skills
• Highest standard of personal and professional integrity
• Ability to use discretion while working with confidential and sensitive information
• Demonstrated ability to work within a time-sensitive, highly participatory and collaborative environment with strong team orientation
• Understanding of principles and strategies of philanthropy
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or Google Analytics a plus
