Reports to: Manager of the Warehouse
Position Description
This part time, non-benefited position is responsible for various logistical aspects of the transportation and delivery of food/non-food items to various locations within the CCEOK network according to a planned daily schedule. This person will interface with the Warehouse staff daily to ensure best practices are maintained while providing a superior level of customer service to the clients/vendors of Catholic Charities.
Ministerial
- As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, it is expected that both professional and social behavior be aligned with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church
- Pray daily for the needs of the poor; opportunities include personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration
- Willingness to learn how to articulate Catholic teaching with a commitment to its application in the job function
- Execute duties in a Christ-like manner with love and compassion following the values and principles of the program, Catholic Charities and Catholic Social Teaching
Job Duties
- Drive to various retail locations within required time to pick up food related products and load on to truck for transportation back to warehouse
- Deliver products to designated warehouses in a timely manner
- Proper record keeping of products received and delivered
- Adhere to safety protocols of truck usage and warehouse duties
- Ensure that client dignity and Catholic values are upheld
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License and proof of auto insurance in state of Oklahoma
- Experience in driving box trucks of assorted sizes – CDL a plus.
- Good customer service skills
- Detailed and organized
- Able to show up when scheduled and work some weekends, nights, and early morning hours
- Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, sit and stand for a prolonged period
