Position Description
This full-time, benefited, temporary position supervises case managers and is responsible for achieving recovery case management goals. The case manager supervisor would provide overall case management direction, oversight, and support to disaster case management activities. The case manager supervisor will also be responsible for necessary reporting, compliance, monitoring and evaluation of all case management activities. This is a temporary grant-funded position with an end date of approximately 16 months from the start date.
Ministerial
- As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, it is expected that both professional and social behavior be aligned with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church

Leadership
- Motivate, lead and inspire staff and volunteers to accomplish the program’s vision and goals
- Supervise case managers and provide support and training for disaster case management services including regular, documented meetings with staff and evaluations as well as participation in case consultation
- Assist with strategy and planning relating to overall DCM program requirements
- Ensure that the program’s required case management services are provided to the population according to the state contract and are limited to disaster recovery efforts.
- Direct, coordinate and debrief case managers and others on a regular basis
Financial Responsibility
- Provide required reports from ODS to the State
- Review, approve and submit check requests in Blackbaud
- Oversee that proper documentation is submitted in Blackbaud in a timely manner
Tasks
- Review, approve and submit all digital timecards and in Paycor
- Review case files on a regular basis according to program policy and record in ODS
- Aid clients with outstanding issues that cannot be fully addressed by case managers
- Recommend referrals to address unmet needs of clients
- Ensure well-being of those they supervise
- Recommend referrals to address the unmet needs of clients
- Analyze and evaluate program/service delivery; prepare recommendations/initiate improvements in service delivery, implement changes as required
- Provide culturally sensitive services
- Participate actively in community building and capacity to support recovery efforts, including attending long-term recovery groups, unmet needs meetings and public speaking when called upon to engage community partners
- Participate in regular State Disaster Case Management Program meetings per state contract
- May be required to carry a disaster case management caseload dependent on staffing and community need
- Collaborate respectfully with other personnel and service providers
- Responsible for establishing a respectful relationship with persons served while helping the client gain skills and confidence that will empower them and build resiliency
- Display appropriate interventions to meet service goals and ability to set appropriate service limits
- Travel by car to meet with community partners and survivors. Travel may require prolonged sitting or standing
- Review all case presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in case management, financial assistance processing, partner-agency relations, contract reporting, database entry and reporting and disaster response/recovery is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field is preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong flexible interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with employees and managers at all levels in the organization
- Excellent organizational skills required to ensure that multiple tasks receive adequate and timely attention
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word and Adobe
