A longtime leader in the Bartlesville nonprofit community, Mary Martha Outreach, has joined the family of Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma. Last year, Mary Martha Outreach distributed 4.5 million pounds of food, primarily fresh produce, to neighbors in need and to
50 other nonprofit agencies in the area. We are now distributing millions of pounds of fresh produce to families in need! The majority of this food is donated from the Walmart Distribution Center just outside Bartlesville. As soon as they declare food a surplus, they call us. In 45 minutes, our refrigerated truck pulls in to pick it up. The food goes to Mary Martha’s warehouse in Bartlesville, where it is distributed over a five-county area. With the help of 150 volunteers, we are also equipping families with clothing, haircuts, diapers, and needed household items and furniture.

With the addition of Mary Martha Outreach, Catholic Charities now distributes more food to those in need than any other organization in Oklahoma!
