Volunteer Opportunities

Opened in 2010, the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Dental Care Center is making great strides towards the goal of providing comprehensive care to the underserved population of Northeastern Oklahoma.  With the invaluable donation of the time and talent of volunteer dentists, hygienists and assistants, we are able to provide hygiene services, exams and treatment planning, restorative care, full dentures, and removable partial dentures. We also hold extraction clinics for those who are in pain or have non-restorable teeth.

Catholic Charities has been named an externship site for OU senior dental students to provide supervised care to patients and to learn more about community-based dentistry.

The clinic is currently staffed by a dental director, one part-time and two full-time assistants dedicated to making our clinic a pristine, efficient, compassionate, and friendly environment for both our patients and our volunteers.

If you have questions or would like to schedule a tour contact Jennifer Cook, DDS, Dental Director, at jcook@cceok.org.

Thank you for considering Catholic Charities as a way to serve. If you have questions or are interested in volunteering in the dental care center, contact us at 918.508.7125 or volunteer@cceok.org. We look forward to working with you.
