Be a Volunteer
Volunteer one time or on a regular basis. We have a wide variety of opportunities. One is sure to pique your interest.
Summer Workshops- (Through our Tulsa education program): We have created summer shorts! Two-week long workshops for our students that will help them with life skills, if you think you can help our students learn about shopping, healthcare, banking, emergency services or other important daily living skills we all need to know, contact bnichols@cceok.org. Beth is our Education Volunteer Coordinator and will provide more information.
Porta Caeli House: Do you like to serve? Do you like to cook? Or, are you like me and like to pull something out of the freezer, heat it up and claim you worked all day on it? If you can relate to any of these scenarios, then we need you! We have openings for those of you who have a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday evening to serve (this can be a great older family opportunity with your high school/college teens, or a date night with your spouse). Serve food? Yes, but more importantly serve the families that have guests at PCH a warm meal where they can sit together, talk and share about what they’re going through at this very tough time in their lives. Contact Mary Nole – mnole@cceok.org to get times and answers to any questions you may have.
Grow Our Garden Team Information Session: Come and see what’s happening in our garden and how you can be a part of growing fresh produce to help feed our neighbors in need, or, maybe you’re more interested in flowers and trees? Come and see where you can help in either or both of these two teams. We are hosting two information sessions (Tuesday, April 25th 6:30 – 7:30 pm and Saturday, April 29th 10:00 – 11:00 am) click this link to sign up (no obligation, this is information only and a time for you to ask questions): https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040a45aeae2fa5fe3-help2#/
