Be a Volunteer

Volunteer one time or on a regular basis. We have a wide variety of opportunities. One is sure to pique your interest.

Summer Workshops- (Through our Tulsa education program): We have created summer shorts! Two-week long workshops for our students that will help them with life skills, if you think you can help our students learn about shopping, healthcare, banking, emergency services or other important daily living skills we all need to know, contact Beth is our Education Volunteer Coordinator and will provide more information.

Porta Caeli House: Do you like to serve? Do you like to cook? Or, are you like me and like to pull something out of the freezer, heat it up and claim you worked all day on it? If you can relate to any of these scenarios, then we need you! We have openings for those of you who have a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday evening to serve (this can be a great older family opportunity with your high school/college teens, or a date night with your spouse). Serve food? Yes, but more importantly serve the families that have guests at PCH a warm meal where they can sit together, talk and share about what they’re going through at this very tough time in their lives. Contact Mary Nole – to get times and answers to any questions you may have.

Grow Our Garden Team Information Session:  Come and see what’s happening in our garden and how you can be a part of growing fresh produce to help feed our neighbors in need, or, maybe you’re more interested in flowers and trees? Come and see where you can help in either or both of these two teams.  We are hosting two information sessions (Tuesday, April 25th  6:30 – 7:30 pm and Saturday, April 29th  10:00 – 11:00 am) click this link to sign up (no obligation, this is information only and a time for you to ask questions):

Put your compassion into action!
Individual & Family Volunteering

One time or once a week, volunteering at Catholic Charities is about receiving as much as giving.

Student Service Hours

Students age 14 and up may volunteer by themselves. Younger students through age 13 may volunteer with a parent.

Professional Volunteer Opportunities

Are you a teacher? Dentist? Attorney? Catholic Charities has many volunteer opportunities that put your talents to good use. We love interns, too!

Group Volunteering

Churches, youth groups, schools, corporate work days and Eagle Scout projects...we have volunteer opportunities for small and large groups.

Try it...You'll Like It!

Not sure where you'd like to volunteer?

Love to cook? Prefer to be behind the scenes? Willing to drive? Speak a language other than English? Love to teach? We need you! Volunteer with no commitment!

Shadow one or several of our volunteers and decide what fits you best!

Contact us at or (918) 508-7187.

Would you like to volunteer at one of our Eastern Oklahoma Outreach Locations?

We welcome volunteers at all of our locations in Eastern Oklahoma!

Broken Arrow

Be sure to select the location where you'd like to volunteer on the form and someone from that location will be in touch with you.

Volunteering at Catholic Charities in the kitchen, the dining room, and at Madonna House are the highlights of my week. It's all about friendships, caring, giving, and 'becoming one'.
