St Elizabeth Lodge & Madonna House
Two transitional residential homes for working mothers with their children. The Little Blessings Childcare Ministry offers our moms an opportunity to take personal enrichment classes knowing their children are being well cared for.

Adult Education
Catholic Charities Adult Education program is dedicated to providing quality education in a safe, stress-free environment. Classes offered include ESL, GED/HiSET, and basic computers in both English and Spanish. Teacher and substitute positions are available. Prior teaching experience is not necessary. Bilingual is helpful, but not required.

Refugee Resettlement
Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement program helps coordinate the reception and transitional needs of refugees resettled by the US State Department. We provide help with housing, food, and case management. Volunteer opportunities include helping with airport arrivals to welcome our new neighbors, setting up apartments to make their new place feel like home, as well as partnering with our case managers to help provide the services needed for refugees to become engaged members of our community.

The Market at Catholic Charities
The Market is an onsite client-choice food pantry where guests choose their own groceries – including fresh produce, meats, dairy and eggs when available. Volunteers work directly with our neighbors who come to The Market as well as behind the scenes in our warehouse preparing groceries (breaking down bulk items, sorting produce, etc.) to be stocked in The Market.

Garden Ministry
Catholic Charities has its own community garden, “Soil to Soul”. Come join us in the outdoors, learning and socializing, as we provide food for our clients and beauty for those who visit our campus. Volunteers may be preparing garden beds for planting, weeding or harvesting vegetables and herbs.

Porta Caeli House
Compassionate end-of-life care when dying at home is not an option. Porta Caeli House provides a loving home, a place of emotional, spiritual, and social support for guests and their families. Volunteer opportunities include welcoming our incoming guests, families and friends, preparing lunch or dinner (this option usually includes setting up and serving a ready to go meal and clean up), housekeeping, and guest companions to sit with our guests when they have no one to visit them.

Kitchen Ministry
Our Kitchen provides lunches to the community lunches every Wednesday and Thursday. We also prepare a variety of products that are fresh or frozen for our guests who shop in The Market.
