Warehouse Associate – Bartlesville

Job Type: Ministerial 

Reports to: Director of MMO

Position Description 

This part-time, non-benefited position is responsible for warehouse & inventory maintenance. This position interfaces with the warehouse manager and Director of MMO to ensure best practices are maintained and a superior level of customer service is provided to clients in all areas.     

Mary Martha Outreach is an outreach location of Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma that provides a variety of healthy food items at no cost to low-income individuals to help alleviate food insecurity in Eastern Oklahoma.

Ministerial 

  • As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, both professional and personal conduct must align with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church
  • Pray daily for the needs of the poor through personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration
  • Be willing to learn and apply Catholic teaching in your role
  • Help foster a shared culture of ministry across program operations and management
  •  

Leadership

  • Interact and assist with the needs of clients as issues arise pertaining to CCEOK services
  • Adhere to operational procedures, including inventory control, for the warehouse
  • Assure that balanced nutritious food options are readily available for distribution
  • Oversee pantry operations when warehouse manager is unavailable
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the warehouse and conditions to ensure a clean/safe environment
  • Assist in product receipt and shipping
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

 

Community Outreach 

  • Represent program at events in the local community
  • Support related fundraising and volunteer events

 

Qualifications/Education  

  • High school diploma required with some college experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Self-starter that can work independently and ability to handle fast-paced environment   
  • Good organizational skills and data record management 
  • Ability to operate a forklift or receive certification
  • Valid driver’s license & proof of insurance
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Weekdays and occasional nights & weekends as needed
