Warehouse Coordinator - Sallisaw

Position Description

This part-time position is responsible for processes and procedures in the warehouse while developing standards, inventory control, and a safe environment. Working closely with and being able to engage volunteers is a critical element of this role. Some reporting, analysis and decision making in collaboration with the coordinator may be necessary.

As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, it is expected that both professional and social behavior be aligned with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church.


  • Pray daily for the needs of the poor; opportunities include personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations, contents and personnel by establishing and reviewing safety procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels according to space, need and quantity requirements
  • Maintains a record of weight logs for all incoming items and record of waste and other outgoing items
  • Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse
  • Works closely with the Pantry Coordinator for food storage:  frozen, cooler and canned goods.
  • Assists during deliveries of food to offload and put away in the appropriate space.
  • Engages and works collaboratively with volunteers, communicating issues and needs to the manager
  • Onboards new volunteers, develops schedules and helps in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Achieves job results by planning and training personnel and maintaining regular communication with the manager.
  • Ensures the dignity of every person and Catholic values are upheld and resolve client issues that arise
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing duties as assigned


  • High School or GED graduate


  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good organizational skills
  • Experience building and utilizing leadership volunteers
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • PC literate, Word, Excel, Outlook and internet usage
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, stoop, sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Must have a valid OK driver’s license and able to drive a box truck
