Catholic Charities USA announced that Steve Hanlon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, has been named Volunteer of the Year for 2020.

Gathering Place is partnering with Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma to become a distribution location to provide free food boxes through the USDA Farmers To Families Food Box Program.

Several local businesses are assisting public health officials to distribute 40,000 disposable masks to help stymie the transmission of COVID-19. Masks will be available free at Reasor’s Foods, Rib Crib and Catholic Charities, according to a news release. The masks are being donated by Saint Francis Health System.
